Erratic motor operation spoils an excellent flying helicopter Review by OhNo!
Price Value Quality While it was flying properly, it was an excellent teaching helicopter. But now it no longer has the power to lift out of ground effect. I replaced the battery, to no effect.
I noticed Syma's ad hints at a possible explanation for the motors loss of power

Could it be that the power saver mode is engaging? What actually turns on the power saving mode? How do you turn it off? (Posted on 1/4/11) -

Price Value Quality I bought one of these for my kids and was surprise by it's stability and accurate flying characteristics. And the red/blue flashing LED on the front looks cool at night! I would highly recommend this helicopter. It isn't for little kids though, the kids should be 9 or 10. (Posted on 7/16/10)
